OYO Sheldon's Motel And Restaurant

I love this hotel. I am going there weekly for work. Renee the beautiful lady that manages the hotel is absolutely amazing and extremely kind. She goes above and beyond to make sure I enjoy my stay. She’s available to help no matter what time. I lost my car key and I was going to be late for work. She offered to take me to work and picked me up after work. I truly enjoy coming there because of her kindness.

Renee and the management team do everything they can to make sure all guests enjoy their stay. It is better than sleeping in your car or homeless, and the price to include WiFi, a place to shower, sleep and microwave food? You can’t beat the price. I am so glad I stayed here. Thank you Renee, and all of the workers and management.

I stayed at the hotel and ate at the restaurant, both exceeds my expectation. Hotel is quiet and inn keeper spaces the guests out so we are not interrupting another. Good water pressure and lots of hot water, room had a small fridge and microwave. Rooms clean and I had a great nights sleep. Restaurant is very friendly, if you are traveling thru alone- I recommend sitting at the counter for great conversation. I had the Cajun omelet which was amazing, and the buffet looked appetizing also.

I am going to be brutally honest and say this place is one of those you get what you pay for. You want a place to sleep safe and be out during day and actually work this is the place for you. Restaurant is closed and has been for awhile - due to prior COVID issues so my only suggestion is updating the Google name to "OYO Sheldons Motel" to reduce any confusion. There is plenty of nearby food attractions/similar diners that the restaurant used to be. Thank you front desk for everything.

Very grateful we found this place! The people were all very nice and accommodating. Everything was clean. I’m very sensitive to smells, but had no issues, like no stale cigarette smoke, or moldy carpet smells. They didn’t care that I had brought my Sheltie with me. Unfortunately, we had to hit the road before we could eat, but the breakfast bar looked so good I did have to think twice. Thanks for everything, hope to make it back;)

This place turned out to be better than expected. I was there in the past and it wasn't all that great due to the setup with long tables and limited meals available. However, it is now very good with booth and small tables to sit at. The best part was the buffet and the service. The waitresses were very sweet and super friendly. For a motel restaurant, you must try it. Recommend for sure

Very friendly staff and clean rooms. It is a bit on the pricier side when compared to other hotels of the same age and general state, but it seemed to be the best in the area for the price. Overall I enjoyed my stay, would stay again if I find myself in the area.

I eat here from time to time for some good country cooking. It's a little motel and restaurant combined. The restaurant is definitely shabby and in need of a good makeover and that's the reason for the 4 stars. But don't let it's appearance fool you. The food is always scrumptious and you'll get things you don't normally find, like corn pudding. Their buffet is great and I'd recommend it highly if you're in the mood for some comfort food.
